ABOUT THIS EPISODE

In his own words, Gil Hoffman was "made in America with all Israeli parts." A Chicago native with Israeli parents, Gil always knew he would return to his homeland, and fell in love early on with journalism and political coverage. He is now one of the most senior reporters working out of the Knesset, covering the intriguing world of Israeli governance for the Jerusalem Post, the world's Jerusalem-based English-language daily.

Gil has also traveled the world - including all 50 U.S. states! - speaking on college campuses and at other gatherings representing a pro-Israel perspective. He appears regularly on many TV outlets, including the Arab Al-Jazeera, offering his unique insights there as well. Gil has covered every major political event in the last 20-plus years, met countless prime ministers and high-ranking officials, and brought an exceptional standard of journalistic professionalism to a dynamic and challenging reporting landscape.
