Jews You Should Know

Dec 10, 2018

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

In our final of the journalism mini-series in the Israel Live Podcast Tour, we encounter Zvika Klein, Diaspora reporter for Makor Rishon. Zvika has spent years covering the Jewish world that exists beyond the Holy Land's borders, and bringing those stories to its denizens within.

Zvika gained notoriety - and a viral YouTube credit - when he filmed himself walking for ten hours through the streets of Paris wearing a kippah (Jewish head covering), documenting the anti-Semitic sentiment he experienced.

But that was one of only many fascinating stories he has brought to readers around the world. Our wide-ranging discussion, from his apartment in the heart of Jerusalem, touched on a variety of complex issues facing the country and its relationships to Jews outside of Israel. Worth a listen for anyone who cares about the Jewish State and values its place in the firmament of world Jewry.
